Carpet Cleaning:
Steamaster Carpet Cleaning Inc. is certified to clean all types of indoor and outdoor carpets. Pricing is done by the square foot, and our technicians will measure all designated areas and give you an exact price before they begin the work. Area Rugs:
Steamaster offers professional in-home or off-site cleaning of all types of area rugs and runners. Our technicians clean both imported and domestic and even hand woven rugs. If possible, please specify what type of rug you have when calling for your appointment. Rugs with fringes are best cleaned outside of the home, as the fringes can turn brown when not dried properly.
Area rugs cleaned in the home are cleaned as if they are wall to wall carpet, i.e. the top is cleaned. Rest assured that no water will soak through the backing of your rug to the floor beneath; our steam cleaning method leaves rugs damp, not wet. Due to the tendency of fringes to discolor, we can power-vacuum your fringes in-home but cannot steam clean them.
Area rugs which are taken out to be cleaned are submerged in water and cleaned by hand, then speed-dried. This is the most thorough method of cleaning for your area rug, and highly recommended for Oriental, hand-made or silk rugs. Rugs will be delivered to you wrapped; please let us know if you will need our technicians to lay out your rug.

Upholstery and Leather Furniture:
There is nothing like lifting a couch cushion and seeing the color your sofa used to be. Our steam cleaning method restores original beauty to your furniture as it does to your carpets, and can be done on nearly every type of fabric, and even leather. All of the upholstery in your home can be cleaned, including sofas, love seats, sectionals, arm chairs, dining room chairs, ottomans and more. We can also apply treatments such as
Scotchgard to help protect your furniture from accidental stains and spills.

Draperies:
Draperies collect dust, soil and other allergens just like your carpet, and it is recommended that they be cleaned periodically to ensure a sanitary home. All types of draperies can be cleaned by our skilled technicians. Please be advised that certain types of delicate fabric mandate that we be less aggressive with the cleaning process; therefore these should be cleaned more frequently.

Ceramic Tile & Grout Cleaning:
Steam cleaning is the single best method for cleaning all types of ceramic tile & grout, from your shower walls to your kitchen floor. Steam, unlike the harsh irritants in many household cleaning agents, does not harm the ceramic, nor does it effect any designs or colors. Steam also reaches the tiny pores of the grout better than any brush can; the result is a sparkling clean wall or floor!

Ceramic Tile Resealing:
Our grout sealant is the key to keeping your tiles looking new. Grout sealing forms a protective barrier keeping the grout from being as porous. This in turn can keep it free from dirt and mold longer between cleanings.

Automobile Interiors:
Steamaster offers the deepest clean available for your vehicle’s interior, from restoring the look of your floor mats to removing tough stains and soil from the seats. Leather interiors can be cleaned, in addition to all types of fabric. Scotchgarding and deodorizing treatments are available and especially recommended if you frequently transport children or pets.

Lamp Shades & Mattresses:
As with other fabric surfaces in the home, lamp shades and mattresses absorb
odors and contaminants. When having your carpets and upholstery cleaned
during your bi-annual or annual cleaning, consider having your lamp shades and mattresses cleaned as well. Mattress cleaning is especially recommended for
allergy sufferers as it removes dust mites and other home allergens.

Scotchgard™:
Scotchgard™ repels liquid spills, helps eliminate stains and protects against re-soiling. It works by forming a barrier between your carpet's fibers to push spills away and prevent absorption. Spills are easily blotted up, which prevents staining. Vacuuming is actually more effective with Scotchgard protector; dirt is more easily picked-up, and fewer passes with your vacuum are required. During professional Steamaster cleanings, prior application of Scotchgard helps your carpet and upholstery release stains more easily.
Scotchgard does not change the look or appearance of your carpet, rug or upholstery.
We highly recommend Scotchgard for heavy traffic areas such as halls and stairs and for homes with children and pets.

Deodorizer/Pet Treatment:
Even the cleanest homes can have lingering odors that you may not be able to notice, but guests may. We offer a deodorizer which helps eliminate odors and leaves behind a light, pleasant apple scent as well as a pet treatment which has an added enzyme to treat pet urine. In most cases, if the animal cannot detect its own scent, it does not return to re-soil the same area. Deodorizing can be done to any fabric surface.

Antimicrobial Deodorizer and Steri-Fab:
Antimicrobial Deodorizer is similar to our standard Deodorizer, with an added benefit of fighting bacteria and helping to prevent the growth of mold. It is necessary to treat flooded areas with Antimicrobial Deodorizer immediately after your thorough cleaning. For more information on flood damage, please click here.
Steri-Fab is more than just a disinfectant. It kills Lice, Bed Bugs, Fleas, Ticks and Dust Mites, Bacteria, Fungus, Mildew and many viruses. Most importantly, it is biodegradable and leaves no residue or active ingredients behind, making it safe for pets and children. It is also fragrance and dye free. There comes a time when every carpet will need to be replaced, even those that have been properly maintained by professionals. Regular wear can detract from the original beauty of your carpet, and thus your home. Alternatively, you may desire to update your home’s look with a new choice of flooring. Carpet Repair and Stretching:
Many people view an accidental tear in their carpet as the end of it’s life. Fortunately, our installation experts are also adept at repairing carpet! For a minimal charge, our technicians will repair tears and visible seams. Stretching is also available for carpets which have begun to “wave” or “buckle”.

Padding Replacement:
Carpets and area rugs can begin to lose their “spring” due to heavy traffic. Steamaster can help extend the life of your carpet by replacing the padding. We also offer non-skid backing for your area rugs. It is recommended that padding be replaced for areas which have been flooded.

FLOOD RESTORATION:
We at Steamaster know how helpless it feels when your home is flooded. Nothing compounds the stress of a broken pipe, leaky radiator or bad weather like seeing your beautiful carpet under inches of water. Our industrial extraction system out-powers even the strongest home wet-vac. We will extract the water from your carpet and upholstery, steam clean it, and apply an Antimicrobial Deodorizer to the effected areas. It is important to remember that this should be done within the first 48 hours of flooding in order to prevent odors and the growth of molds and fungus.
Rental of drying equipment such as blowers and dehumidifiers is available, and strongly recommended.
